Welcome to the Noodle House

The Noodle House was established by myself, Ingrid, and my husband Alois Basler in 1998 in Curry, Co. Sligo, in the beautiful west of Ireland. We moved here from Germany with our two daughters and we were always a family with a passion for good food. Where we came from in Germany, pasta was a very popular dish. We realised that although pasta had made it onto the Irish shelves, it just wasn't the same quality and taste we were used to. The decision was made to start our own Irish organic pasta business. Our children grew up in the family business and have joined us with full force.

Why is our pasta so good?

We pride ourselves on selecting the best ingredients and this combined with skilled Ingrid Basler, Pasta Maker artisan production allows us to make the best. Our pasta is an egg pasta so it is full of taste and because we dry at low temperatures more nutrients are preserved and the pasta cooks in only 3-5 minutes. John and Sally Mc Kenna have made us part of their Bridgestone Irish Food Guide since we started and we are also part of Good Food Ireland.

Why are we organic?

At Noodle House all our products are organic and we are certified by IOFGA. With our passion for good food comes our passion for life and that’s what organic is really all about! Our ingredients are sourced from farms that avoid the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. There are no artificial additives in our products and GM (genetically modified) foods are not tolerated in organic farming or food production. All this means you are left with great tasting food that is good for you and your family, and good for the environment too.
